Meet the team
New Capital Link Foundation is guided by two people who bring very different, complementary experience to the same purpose: choosing our charitable partners carefully, and supporting them properly.
New Capital Link is a growing investment firm, but the Foundation itself is run by a small, hands-on team rather than a large fundraising department. That's deliberate. Keeping the team close to each cause — rather than delegating decisions to committees — is part of how we back a small number of partnerships deeply instead of spreading support thinly across many. You can read more about that thinking on our About Us page, and see the results on Who We've Supported.
Georgina Rigby
Georgina leads the Foundation's day-to-day work: identifying and evaluating potential causes, and coordinating the practical support New Capital Link gives them. As Office Manager at New Capital Link, she keeps the Foundation grounded in the same organised, considered approach the firm applies to its core business.
Before joining New Capital Link, Georgina spent several years working in social care, supporting people recovering from addiction as they rebuilt their lives. That experience gave her a first-hand understanding of what meaningful support actually looks like, and a deep, personal passion for charitable and community work.
It's this background that shapes the Foundation's close involvement with homelessness-focused causes such as CHESS Homeless and Homeless Street Angels — partnerships Georgina helps identify, evaluate and see through.

Rachel founded New Capital Link in 2020 and, as CEO, sets the strategic direction for the Foundation alongside the firm's core business. Her approach to charitable giving is shaped directly by her investment background: the same discipline used to assess an investment opportunity is applied to assessing a charitable one.
That means every cause the Foundation backs is researched and evaluated before any commitment is made, and support is judged on whether it achieves a measurable outcome — not simply on good intentions.
“We apply the same analytical rigour to our charitable work that guides our investment decisions.”

Between them, Georgina and Rachel bring frontline experience of the causes we support and the strategic discipline to choose them well. Neither role involves handling public donations — the Foundation doesn't accept them — but both are closely involved in every partnership we do take on, from the first conversation through to seeing the impact for ourselves.
Know a cause the team should look at?
We don't take public donations — but Georgina and Rachel always want to hear about organisations doing meaningful work in homelessness, education or community development.
