Who we have supported
This is not a fundraising page — New Capital Link Foundation does not accept donations from the public, and it never will. What follows are the real causes we have chosen, researched and backed ourselves, in line with our focus on homelessness and education. Each partnership below reflects a deliberate decision to go deep with a small number of organisations, rather than spread support thinly across many.
CHESS Homeless
HomelessnessCHESS Homeless runs a comprehensive model of support in Chelmsford — accommodation, mental health support, addiction recovery and skills training — built to help people move off the streets for good, not just survive another night on them. When a severe winter cold snap pushed temperatures well below freezing, the Foundation stepped in with 50 specialised sleeping bags engineered to withstand extreme conditions, giving rough sleepers a level of protection ordinary bedding simply cannot offer. It is exactly the kind of practical, urgent, well-targeted support we look for: a real need, met quickly, by an organisation already doing the hard work every day.

Homeless Street Angels
HomelessnessHomeless Street Angels takes support directly to where it is needed, delivering essential items and building pathways towards housing for people sleeping rough across Leeds — work that has earned public backing from figures including Lord Alan Sugar. The Foundation supports that outreach in the way we support every cause we back: through a combination of funding, hands-on volunteering time, and professional expertise drawn from across New Capital Link, from financial planning to operational and strategic input. It is the same deep, engaged model of support we apply to CHESS Homeless, adapted to what Homeless Street Angels and the people it serves in Leeds actually need on the ground.
Educational Access Programme
Education & AccessNot every barrier to opportunity is financial in the obvious sense — sometimes it is simply a lack of access to the technology that education now depends on. The Foundation funded computers for underprivileged children in India as part of an educational access programme, helping close the digital divide that too often separates children from the tools, resources and opportunities their peers take for granted. It reflects our belief that education support works best when it removes a specific, concrete obstacle — in this case, giving children the equipment they need to learn, connect and keep pace with a digitally-driven world.
Why we back a few causes, deeply
Three causes is not a modest total by accident. New Capital Link Foundation applies the same rigour to charitable partnerships that New Capital Link applies to investment decisions — researching organisations closely, understanding exactly what they need, and choosing to support fewer causes more meaningfully rather than many causes thinly. That means funding, yes, but also volunteering time and the professional expertise of our people: financial planning, operational improvement, strategic direction and technology, put to work for organisations that could not otherwise access them.
