Recommend a cause

We don't accept donations. We do welcome recommendations. New Capital Link Foundation is not a fundraising vehicle and never asks members of the public for money. What we do want to hear about are charities and causes — in homelessness, education and access, or community development — that deserve serious attention. Tell us who they are and why, and our team will take a genuine look.

How Recommendations Work

What we're looking for

We keep our giving deliberately narrow so that our support goes deeper, not wider. That means every recommendation is weighed against three focus areas: homelessness, education & access, and community development. If the organisation you have in mind sits squarely in one of those areas, it has a real chance of being considered.

The strongest recommendations tend to share a few things in common. They point to a specific organisation, not a general cause — a named charity or project we can research, not just a category of need. They describe focused, evidence-based work: an organisation that can show what it does and the difference it makes, rather than a broad appeal. And ideally, they come from someone with direct knowledge of the work — a volunteer, a beneficiary, a local supporter, or someone who has simply seen the impact first-hand and can speak to it honestly.

We can't promise to act on every suggestion. We support a small number of causes at any one time, and we choose them carefully — researching each candidate, understanding its leadership, and setting clear metrics before committing. But every recommendation is read, and the best of them shape where our attention goes next.

  • Homelessness — accommodation, outreach and pathways off the streets
  • Education & Access — closing the gap for underprivileged children and young people
  • Community Development — projects that build stronger, more resilient local communities
  • A specific organisation you know first-hand, doing focused, evidence-based work

Tell us who deserves our attention

No payment details, no donation amounts — just the details we need to look into a cause properly.

We read every recommendation, but given our small, selective process we can't guarantee a personal response to each one, and we can't promise a timeframe for when — or whether — a particular cause will be taken forward.

Common Questions

Can I donate money to New Capital Link Foundation?

No. New Capital Link Foundation does not accept donations from members of the public. Instead, we welcome recommendations for charities and causes we might choose to support directly.

What kind of causes can I recommend?

We focus on three areas: homelessness, education and access, and community development. Recommendations that fit one of these areas are most likely to be considered.

What happens after I submit a recommendation?

Our team reviews recommendations against our focus areas and selection criteria. We periodically choose a small number of causes to support deeply, with funding, volunteering and professional expertise.
